We chose the name Symfonix® because good engagement reminds us of conducting an orchestra. When performing a symphony, the conductor must be able to hear each section of the orchestra and each individual instrument in isolation in order to understand their impact on each other. 

Symfonix® is a unique system for opinion monitoring.   It is a powerful and practical tool for effective Community Consultation and Stakeholder Engagement. The system gathers and combines information from digital media with results from direct consultations and engagement exercises.

Methods of communication have evolved exponentially in the last decade.  Keeping track of all the information in the digital media e.g. online press; local and trade press, online publications and information sites and social media e.g. Twitter, Linked In, blogs etc. is a huge challenge.  To combine this information with data gathered from across an organisation e.g. research reports, letters, emails and minutes of meetings, would take a whole department of personnel

Symfonix® operates with many different stakeholder groups, constituents, residents, employees, customers, suppliers and advisors with the same aim, to ensure that our clients understand what is important to their stakeholders.

We provide our clients with the tools to listen to what their stakeholders want and be able to gain valuable insight into what really matters to their residents, employees, customers etc.  From these tools we develop valuable intelligence which improves the organisations performance and allows better allocation and targeting of resources.

To help our clients to quickly focus on the key issues the system superimposes its results on maps of the consultation areas.  This places the information immediately in context and includes all sources from individuals’ comments, to minutes of meetings creating a desktop knowledge source, providing a clear view of issues and opinions.

Background

Headquartered in London most of our work is currently UK based with a strong track record in public sector and a growing reputation and customer base in the health, energy, infrastructure and planning markets.  
The Symfonix® approach has been developed over the last five years from an original concept which was identified by our sister company, ResoLex, on its infrastructure and housing projects.


The Community Consultation Dashboard® has been developed in constant consultation with our clients to ensure that it remains effective.  We built all the Symfonix® systems using data discovery tools from Dexter Intelligence.  Dexter provides us with the most advanced platform for social listening combined with the ability to gather and integrate data from varied and disparate sources.  We have a close working relationship with Dexter Intelligence based on continued mutual innovation and excellence in delivery.
